can a sole trader be classed as a corporate body

In the vat legistislation it states that a company or OTHER CORPORATE BODY with business units that are NOT limited companies may be able to register each of them separately for vat.

    Generally, “Sole Proprietors” are considered as “Individuals” and not as “Corporates”.
