what is the fundamental difference between a planned economy and a private enterprise or capitalist system?

    True capitalist economies consist solely of free market enterprise, meaning no government intervention for private sector services. Business exists naturally via supply and demand. A planned economy has numerous interventions by the government, and I think falls under socialism and/or communism.

    There is no pure capitalist economy, though. The US, the champion of capitalism, has numerous government funded programs such as the US Post Office and Amtrak train service – two things that either don’t need to or wouldn’t exist without the government.

      planned economyis a form economic system where by the government owns every aspect of individuals life.while capitalist industries are privately owned without the enterfearence of the state.
