I am applying for a federal position with the U.S. Park police. is it ok to list my ksa’s in paragraph form like this.

I believe that I would make a great police officer. I am responsible, committed to excellence and a person of passion and dedication. My integrity and honor are part of the high standards that I hold for myself. I believe that being early is being on time and I hold the highest standards of personal appearance. I have the desire to help others and to make a difference in the community that I live in. I want to help safeguard our neighborhoods and streets for the members of the community to enjoy. I think it is important that people can walk out their front door and not be afraid that are going to become the victim of a crime.
My current employment with Paladin Security is dynamic and exciting. I work as an armed patrol officer. Since starting my employment in May 2010, my responsibilities include being the first responder to all manners of crimes in progress. I work in an armed capacity performing all basic and advanced patrol duties. My employer trusts my proven abilities. I provide services for two different cities while on duty. I have the ability I have the ability to work independently and complete the duties assigned tactfully and in a timely manner; execute verbal and written orders; to react quickly and calmly in emergency situations; to develop positive relationships with others in my work place as well as the community; to operate firearms and all self defense tools safely and effectively. I can recognize signs and symptoms of persons under the influence of narcotics and alcohol. I understand the basic principles of crime scene investigations, including the primary protection of the crime scene, the principals of physical evidence and how physical evidence can assist in solving crimes. I write multiple reports on a nightly basis consisting of information from observations related to my security patrols. I question suspects and witnesses in relation to crimes and community related concerns. I understand the importance of accurate note taking and report writing. I have made citizen arrests based on probable cause to search subjects committing crimes on both physically and mentally to do my job safely and effectively as a security patrol the properties that I patrol. I then contact the local law enforcement agency to come and take the subject into custody. The use of tactical communication is vital in building rapport with both law abiding and non law abiding citizens in the community. I interact with a large multicultural environment on a nightly basis that brings need for cultural awareness. The training that I have received is important to me, and allows me to carry the tools that I need officer on a nightly basis.
I have been through training on fire arms, escalation of force, arrest and control procedures, pepper spray / tear gas, baton and weapons of mass destruction. The training that I have received allows me to carry the tools that I need both physically and mentally to do the job safely and effectively. The training that I have received will make it easier for me to further my skills and training as a Police Officer.
In the United States Navy, I held a supervisory position on the USS Constellation CV-64; a combat vessel that had over four thousand crew members. My specializations were safety supervisor of the building and transportation of all firearms, ordnance and ammunition. I was trained in the use of small and large weapons. I have stood both static and roving post while armed with an M 16 and 9 mm while in high treat ports overseas. All experience I have received is documented and has been demonstrated during two overseas deployments in conflict zones in the Persian Gulf. I have the skills and ability to perform in high stress situations. Understanding the importance of rank and structure within a department is crucial to getting the job done safely and effectively the first time. My overall training has put me through real life situations and has prepared me for my future training and career that I am pursuing in law enforcement.
