is there a premium refund should individual terminate policy?

House was sold and policy was terminated. What happens to the premiums that were paid toward insurance for 6 years

    I am not clear about your question. Insurance is usually an annual contract. For example if your insurance policy begins on the 1st of January, 2009, it will end on the 31st of December, 2009. It is only if there is a loss caused by an insured peril that the insurance company will indemnify you and if it occurs within the period. If no loss occurs, there is no refund. However, in this case, if the six years have passed, then you are not entitled to any refund.
