Macroeconomic conditions in the US are fragile right now, as is the rest of the world. Unemployment is high, but declining. Currency valuation is up and down, affected largely by European financial unrest and artificial valuation in China. Manufacturing is increasing slowly, and the stock markets are heading upward (as of now) after the best September in 70 years. Things seem to be getting better, but it’s hard to tell for sure. There is a lot of speculation that the Federal Reserve will enact more stimulus plans to boost the stalled recovery.
