We are considering leasing the empty office on the other side of a demising wall. Landlord wants to add the area covered by the wall to our sq ft
We want to rent the empty office which is next to ours. The building manager wants to ad the area covered by the demising wall to the total square footage we will pay for. This sounds outrageous to me. After all, the wall is not being torn out, so the space covered by the wall is not usable. Is this fair or legal?
