Can a corporation enter into a contract to sell a corporate members’ indiividual property?

A corporation with only a president (no officers) enter into a contract to sell the Presidents’ private property? I entered into a contract to puchase from the owner a home where the owner would carry the contract. I just noticed the contract was signed by ABC Inc and not ABC the private individual owner of the home. Is this an illegasl contract?

It depends, if the property is owned by the company, then yes. Otherwise, I do not think so because the whole purpose of a corporation is to keep the company’s and owner’s assets and liabilities separate.
