What is acquitable possesion? If a buyer of a house is still waiting for the sale and purchase agreement to be completed and then a water leak occurs at the house who is responsible, the present owner of the buyer?

    To whom the house belongs i.e; before the agreement of sale

      The seller is still the registered owner of the house and I am the buyer and the sale and purchase agreement isĀ  pending completion in 10 days time when the leak occurred.

        The seller is responsible and he has to get repaired the leakage as the agreement is not yet completed.
