in selling the emphasis is on product whereas marketing is all about customers want

and in selling company first makes the product and decide where to sell it where as marketing first determines customer wants and then figures out how to make and deliver a product to satisfy those wants

selling is product based and marketing is customer oriented

SALES, WHETHER INTANGABLE OR TANGABLE PRODUCT/SERVICE ARE MADE AWARE TO THE CONSUMER OR CUSTOMER TO PURSHASE, USUALLY FOR A PROFIT.

MARKETING IS VAST FIELD, HOWEVER USUALLY KNOWING YOUR CHOSEN MARKET PLACE INSIDE OUT IS A GOOD START, FOCUSING ON THE CUSTOMERS WANTS AND NEEDS, INDENTIFYING THE PROBLEM/S,ALSO BENEFITS AND ADVANTAGES.
