403(b) plan
Definition
A type of retirement plan that is similar to a 401(k) plan but is specific to employees of tax exempt organizations and other specific individuals. This plan consists of an annuity plan and / or mutual funds that may be invested in for the purpose of generating an income at the employee's retirement.
