Breakfast Index

An index that monitors the whole food cost of breakfast items and compares it to the consumer price index (CPI) to estimate inflation. It specifically monitors wheat, milk, sugar, coffee, cocoa, bacon, and orange juice. It is an informal indicator created by hard assets investor (HAI).
