Brundtland report

Definition

World Commission on Environment and Development (a UN-sponsored body) report which proposes a 'global agenda for change' and specifies how sustainable development can be achieved. Titled 'Our Common Future,' it was published in 1987, and is named after the then chairperson of the commission, Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland, Prime Minister (1981-96) of Norway.
