Bureau of Economic Analysis
Definition
An American government agency which compiles and reports economic statistics. The American GDP (gross domestic product) and NIPAs (national income and product accounts) are calculated by this bureau, with the intent of providing businesses and investors the most comprehensive, up-to-date snapshot of American economic health as possible.
