COPIS
Definition
An acronym referring to a methodology for designing systems and processes to maximize quality, which stands for Customer, Output, Process, Input, Supplier. This method starts with customer requirements and works backwards to ensure that the resulting product, as well as the processes and materials needed to produce it, are satisfactory to the user of the product. The reverse of the SIPOC process.
