Canada Learning Bond
Definition
A bond which helps families with low incomes afford higher education. This is a grant for individual Registered Education Savings Plans (RESPs). It matches 20 to 40 percent of the first 500 dollars invested, for qualifying families, and 20 percent after that amount, up to 2,500 dollars for everyone. This bond was established in 2004.
