Closer Trade Relations Trade Agreement
Definition
A 1983 accord between Australia and New Zealand, considered to be the one of the most comprehensive trade agreements in the world by the World Trade Organization, which established a free trade zone between the two countries. The bilateral agreement includes service trade as well as goods trade. Also called Closer Economic Relations Trade Agreement, Australia-New Zealand Closer Economic Relations Trade Agreement.
