DMADV
Definition
An acronym that stands for Defining, Measuring, Analyzing, Designing, and Verifying, the five phases of the Design for Six Sigma approach. Based on the Six Sigma methodology for improving existing processes, the DMADV process is used to generate new processes according to the same principles of efficiency and minimization of defects.
