DMEDI
Definition
A conceptual, creative approach to the design of new processes used in Six Sigma process design projects. DMEDI stands for Define, Measure, Explore, Develop, and Implement, and is used to build new processes based on analysis of customer needs and preferences. An alternative to DMAIC, the process improvement method based on rigorous mathematical analysis.
