Deming Application Prize
Definition
Highest quality-award that may be won by a Japanese individual or firm. Instituted in 1951 by the US quality pioneer W. Edward Deming while he was in Japan advising local firms, it is now administered by the Japanese Union Of Scientists & Engineers (JUSE). Also called Deming prize.
