Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)
Definition
A methodology for designing business processes based on the needs of the business and the customer, using techniques and approaches developed for the Six Sigma process improvement system. Design for Six Sigma uses a process generation approach consisting of Defining, Measuring, Analyzing, Designing, and Verifying (DMADV).
