Financial Stability Plan (FSP)

Definition

A plan designed to stabilize the economy of the United States during the financial crisis of 2008 and 2009. The plan was put out by President Barack Obama's administration in early 2009. This plan was designed to take measures in solidifying the U.S. banking system, the stock market, and the mortgage and credit markets.
