Definition
Intel co-founder who also served as executive vice president, chairman and CEO. Recognized for prediction known as "Moore's Law". In 1965, Moore predicted the number of components placed on a computer chip would double each year. Moore's Law is believed to be responsible for the driving the industry to create more powerful chips that reduce electronic costs.
