IDOV
Definition
An acronym for Identify, Define, Optimize, and Verify, referring to a process design methodology that is sometimes used by Six Sigma practitioners to create efficient processes with high-quality outputs. IDOV is similar to models such as DMAIC or DMADV, but puts greater emphasis on financial efficiency and meeting the financial goals of the organization.
