ISM Non-Manufacturing Index
Definition
The index created by the Institute for Supply Management Non-Manufacturing, using information collected from surveys from over 400 non-manufacturing companies. An index with a score over 50 indicates that the industry is expanding, and a score below 50 shows a contraction. Also called ISM Services Survey.
