Katie Couric Clause

The colloquial name for the Executive Compensation and Related Party Disclosure rule from the Securities and Exchange Commission. Named for the highly paid television host, Katie Couric, the clause would demand companies that are traded publically to disclose salaries of all top earners, including nonexecutives. The clause has yet to be implemented and media companies are opposed to it.
