Keller plan

Type of personalized instruction in which learning material is presented in small units. When a student feels ready, he or she takes a test on the completed unit and, depending on the result, is exposed to other units at a comfortable pace. Under Keller plan, instructors serve only as facilitators, administer no punishment at any stage of the learning, and award only pass or fail grades. Named after its developer, the behavioral psychologist Fred Keller.
