Linear Reduction of Tariffs
Definition
An agreement reached during international trade negotiations for an equal percentage reduction in tariffs assessed by all signatories participating in a round of negotiations. Also called across-the-board reduction of tariffs, equal percentage reduction of tariffs, horizontal reduction of tariffs.
