One of the two best-known bond rating agencies (the other is Standard & Poor's), it provides investment information through publication of financial-analysis of corporate securities and debt obligations, municipal short-term issues, and treasury and government agency issues. Owned by Dun & Bradstreet, Inc., its headquarters are in downtown Manhattan, New York.
