Morningstar system
Definition
US mutual fund rating scale ranging from one star (lowest) to five stars (highest). These ratings are awarded on the basis of the fund's risk-adjusted performance over a 3, 5, and 10 year period by Morningstar, Inc., an independent rating agency.
