An organization whose primary purpose is in protecting consumers who do business in the insurance industry. One main focus of this nationwide entity is in providing support to insurance regulators by promoting competitive markets, as well as in improving regulations in the insurance arena and promoting more equitable treatment of consumers in this industry.
