Office of Export Licensing (OEL)

A division of the Bureau of Export Administration that manages the export licensing process. This office is also responsible for providing advice and information to exporting businesses, and for coordinating export license reviews, for analysis of export licensing transactions to identify potential areas for improvements, and for developing new strategies and processes for managing export licensing administration and enforcement.
