Peter Drucker

Definition

Writer and management consultant who is considered to be the person who invented management and nicknamed the "Father of Modern Management". He is known for writing about business management and how humans are organized within these environments. He first stated in the 1950s that employees were to be considered as assets to a company and not liabilities. Drucker was born in Austria in 1909 and died just days shy of his 96th birthday in 2005.
