Theodore C. Levitt
Definition
A German born American economist and professor of the Harvard Business School best known for coining and popularizing the term "globalization". The term first appeared in an article published in 1983 in the Harvard Business Review entitled, "The Globalization of Markets". Theodore C. Levitt was also editor for the Harvard Business Review and died in 2006 at the age of 81.
