Trusted Third Party Services (TTP Services)
Definition
Third parties, such as banks or certification authorities (CA), used in the electronic transfer of secure date. The third party uses cryptography and other security measure to authenticate the identity of the sender, the security of the data during transmission and to verify delivery to the intended recipient.
