Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP)
Definition
A set of standards to be followed when appraising the value of a property. The rules were created by the Appraisal Foundation, and many organizations require their appraisers to follow these guidelines. Some of the standards include best practices for research, reporting, and other activities that an appraiser would go through.
