Veterans Administration (VA)

An agency of the federal government which provides a variety of services for United States veterans. One of the main services it provides is helping veterans and their families find and purchase housing through the use of VA loans. These loans allow the veterans to receive a lower interest rate on their mortgage payments, and usually also means they won't have to provide a down payment. Other services provided by the Veterans Administration include help with health insurance, medical needs, and education.
