XmR Chart
Definition
A control chart that tracks single-data items, with X indicating observation and mR indicating moving range. One of the most widely-used charts, the XmR chart is popular for its ability to visually depict variation when only one observation in a set period of time exists. For example, an XmR chart may be used to track the productivity of a single employee over the course of a week, month, year or longer.
