Yellow Belt
Definition
A certification given to an employee who completes the yellow belt training within the Six Sigma business methodology. The yellow belt indicates a level of introductory competence, largely centered on gathering data and process improvements. In addition, a yellow belt employee would be expected to serve as a core team member within a Six Sigma project.
