age restriction on directors
Definition
In general, no age limit is applied in the appointment of a person as a director and (even if included in the articles of association of the organization) can be countermanded. Some jurisdictions, however, specify a minimum or maximum age: in Scotland a director must be 16 years or older and, in the UK, a director of a public company cannot be older than 70 years.
