agency cost view
Definition
An argument that specifies that the various agency costs create a complex environment where total agency costs are at a minimum with some, but less than 100 percent, debt financing. Also states that agency costs, which are typically incremental costs that occur when an agent makes decisions on behalf of a client, are the lowest when the client finances some, but not all, of her or her transactions with debt.
