approval proof
Definition
Kodak's digital color proofing method in which the image file is validated before imagesetting or printing. The proof can be screened and printed on the same paper stock on which the final job will be printed. The halftone-proof produced by this system is the same as produced by an image recorder or a computer-to-plate device.
