Definition
Computerized mathematical model (set of algorithms) that simulates the information processing and learning capabilities of the densely interconnected and massively parallel structure of human brain. ANNs are used mainly in pattern recognition, robotic vision, and making decisions based on fuzzy data or imprecise input.
