1. Business: A company established by a parent company to conduct a particular line of business. The auxiliary company may operate semi-independently of the parent company.
2. Finance: A company that has a registered office in a foreign country for tax purposes but is controlled and managed from abroad. Most income for an auxiliary company must be from foreign sources. Auxiliary companies have certain tax advantages in Switzerland.
