bidder's conference
Definition
A meeting held by a contractor for all of the vendors to whom the contractor has sent a request for proposal (RFP) or a request for bid (RFB). These conferences, which may be discretionary or mandatory, provide an opportunity for bidders to meet contractor personnel, receive detailed instructions and ask proposal-related questions.
