bulk sales law
Definition
A sale, also called a bulk transfer, of most or the entire inventory held by a business. Many bulk sales must be registered with a government agency, in order to ensure that creditors of the business are informed of the sale and have a chance to seek settlement of any outstanding liabilities of the business.
