ceiling limit
Definition
Maximum allowable human exposure limit for an airborne or gaseous substance (such as chlorine, hydrogen chloride, nitrogen dioxide) which is not to be exceeded even momentarily. Also called ceiling value. See also threshold level value (TLV).
