The classification given to those who have proven their knowledge of and proficiency with the skills related to the yellow belt within the Six Sigma methodology. Unlike the black belt, those holding a certified Six Sigma yellow belt are not placed within leadership roles but have mastered skills that include process improvement, project facilitation and data collection.
