Definition
Executive responsible for making available the knowledge appropriate to the firm's requirements and strategically important in achieving its goals. He or she (1) administers corporate knowledge as an ongoing and critically valuable resource, (2) is responsible for converting the firm's intellectual property into revenue generating assets, and (3) guides the firm towards becoming (or continuing to be) a learning organization. Also called chief learning officer.
