Definition
Multiple-category stock divided usually into two classes on the basis of its benefits. Class-A is a non-voting, dividend paying stock issued to public. Class-B is voting stock that pays no dividend but appreciates with the growth of the firm and is held by the management. Also called classified ordinary shares.
