co-sourcing
Definition
The combining of services from within and outside a business to achieve the same goal. Outsourcing can fill in gaps in internal expertise and save businesses time, money, and effort in recruiting additional staff. For example, an organization might develop software partly in-house and outsource part of the development to an outside organization.
